Cruise travel has gained immense popularity for those seeking to explore diverse destinations while enjoying unparalleled comfort and convenience. With the ability to visit multiple locations without the hassle of constantly packing and unpacking, cruising has become an ideal choice for modern travelers. Passengers can immerse themselves in new cultures, savor different cuisines, and witness breathtaking landscapes—all in one voyage.

One of the most significant benefits of cruise travel is the opportunity to experience various destinations in a single journey. Rather than spending considerable time and resources on airfare and accommodations for each site, travelers can enjoy a seamless transition from one port to another. This means more time exploring and less time worrying about logistics.

Cruise ships are equipped with a plethora of amenities that enhance the travel experience. From exquisite dining options and luxurious accommodations to entertainment and wellness facilities, every aspect is designed to ensure guest satisfaction. Additionally, the ship serves as a floating hotel, providing comfort and relaxation after a day spent exploring new shores. Whether it’s a sunset view from the deck or indulging in a spa treatment, the amenities on board elevate the overall journey. Please see the videos below to help you with your planning process!

Plane Wreck Dives in Aruba

If your cruise happens to stop in Oranjestad, Aruba, I highly recommend booking a two-tank boat dive with Pure Diving Aruba. They will meet you at the port and transfer you to their shop, which is located on the South Coast of the island. This will get you away from the tourist areas, which means less boat traffic and divers in the water. One of the sites located near their shop is the Plane Wrecks. These planes are not actual wreckage from crashes. These planes were decommissioned and sunk to create an artificial reef, which means an awesome experience for divers! What I did not mention in my video, is that these wrecks are near the actual airport. Talk about location!

St. Kitts – Caribbean Scenic Railway

Saint Kitts is a popular port on Eastern Caribbean and Southern Caribbean cruises. There are many excursions and activities available. In this video, I discuss the Caribbean Scenic Railway Tour excursion and provide a few alternatives, if you are looking for more options on the island.

Sint Maarten – Plane Spotting at Maho Beach

This excursion may not be for everyone. It is definitely not a relaxing day at the beach. Make sure you watch my short video that gives you insight into this excursion before making your reservations.

At the time of our cruise, they were offering a 14-day cruise that visited various ports in Canada, Greenland, and Iceland.

Isafordur, Iceland – Waterfalls, Fjords, and a Local Farm

If you are taking a cruise that stops in Isafjordur, I highly recommend booking an excursion separate from the cruise ships that takes you through the West Fjords to the Dynjandi Waterfall and a charming local farm. In this video, I share information on what you may experience booking this 3.5-4 hour tour. It is important that you wear hiking boots or strong, closed toed shoes if you plan on hiking to the base of Dynjandi.
